Drowsy Fish, Sauvignon Blanc, 2016

It is intensely aromatic on the nose showing feijoa, green rockmelon, nectarine and sweet basil characters, leading to a vibrant palate that is punchy and flavoursome. The wine offers excellent fruit weight and concentration, brilliantly supported by fine texture and mouth-watering acidity.

Classically expressed and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2019.

 

China Girl, Pinot Noir, 2016

A delightfully expressed pinot; the inviting bouquet shows dark cherry, plum, clove and toasted almond characters with a touch of game complexity. The palate is beautifully weighted and rounded, and delivers excellent fruit intensity and purity, wonderfully complemented by stylish oak infusion and fine tannins. Very long on the finish with lovely complex flavours. At its best: now to 2021.

 

Signature Selection, Grant Taylor, Pinot Noir, 2016

From the Gibbston Valley district, this glorious pinot exhibits dark fruit, smoked game, cocoa, cedar and violet aromas with a hint of dried herb complexity on the nose. The palate is concentrated and sumptuous, while remaining elegant and perfectly poised, delivering plenty of delicious fruit flavours together with seductive savoury nuances, finishing extremely long and velvety. The wine offers refinement and sophistication with considerable depth of flavour. At its best: 2018 to 2026.

 

The Stolen Heart, Merlot Malbec, 2014

This is instantly appealing on the nose showing dark plum, dried cherry, cedar, black olive and dark chocolate characters, leading to a powerful palate that is filled with delectable flavours, wonderfully supported by silky texture and supple tannins. The wine is generous and flavoursome, and offers terrific drinking. From the Gimblett Gravels district. At its best: now to 2024.

 

The Stolen Heart, Cabernet Merlot, 2014

The wine combines gorgeous fruit richness with attractive savoury complexity, displaying
blackcurrant, cigar box, floral, cocoa and smoked game aromas on the nose, followed by a
beautifully weighted palate that is fleshy and expansive. The wine delivers plenty of delicious flavours, brilliantly structured by fine, chalky tannins. From the Gimblett Gravels district. At its best: now to 2024.

 

The Stolen Heart, Syrah, 2013

An impressively complex offering from the Gimblett Gravels district, the lifted bouquet shows dark fruit, mixed berry compote, earthy mushroom, leather and cedar characters. The palate is full and plump, and offers lovely sweet fruit intensity together with deep savoury undertones, wonderfully framed by fine, delicately drying tannins. A sturdy, Old World-inspired rendition with gorgeous complexity. At its best: now to 202.
